Safe spaces are an essential part of any historically peripheral community. They provide a place of acceptance and understanding where individuals can express themselves without fear of judgement or discrimination.

#Qs (pronounced HQs) are lounge experiences that will offer members the opportunity to relax and enjoy luxurious amenities, refreshments, and entertainment at conferences, in community centers, and on university campuses. #Qs will be a great way for members to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main conference area or campus and have time to relax and network with other WebQ members.

Home away from home

Beyond providing a safe space to retreat, these lounges will put design justice principles at the forefront, creating an equitable environment where members can engage in meaningful conversations and collaborations around emerging technologies, institutions, and policies to ensure the future we are building provides an equitable distribution of resources to all participants.
